About Us

                

 

Enchanted Circle Fair, LLC. is a privately owned and operated Agricultural Fair serving Taos, Colfax, Rio Arriba and Mora Counties in Northern New Mexico. The Fair will be

held the third Wednesday through Sunday of July each year. 

 

Local exhibit classes are open to residents of these Counties while all other exhibit classes are open to everyone.

 Exhibit categories will consist of Agriculture/ Horticulture, Arts, Beef Cattle, Cavy( Guinea Pigs), Clothing & Textiles, Commercial Exhibits, Dairy Cattle, Draft Horse and Mule Show, Feature Booths, Floriculture, Foods, Goats, Hobbies & Crafts, Home Brews & Wines, Horse Shows, Jr. Livestock Auction, Lads and Ladies Lead Jr. Sheep Showmanship, Photography, Poultry, Quilts, Rabbits, Jr. Round Robin Showmanship, Jr. & Peewee Showmanship, Scarecrow Contest, Sheep, Swine and Table Settings & Baskets. All exhibit categories are open to both Junior and Senior(over 18) Exhibitors unless otherwise noted in the Exhibitors Handbook.

 The Fair will also feature entertainment such as Musicians,Rodeos, Bull Riding, Concerts, a Carnival Midway, Tractor Displays, Hypnotist, etc.

 

The Fairgrounds can be utilized the rest of the year for Events such as other Rodeos, Breed Association Livestock and Horse Shows, Private Parties and Weddings, Political Rallies, Metings,Halloween Haunted House, Community Christmas Celebration, as a Emergency Evacuation Center or Command Post for local Disasters such as Wildfires etc., Car Shows and Circuses etc..

General Manager Bio:

 

Dan has been in the Fair, Rodeo and Horse Show industry as an Exhibitor, Announcer, Sound Technician, Rodeo & Horse Show Committee Person and Promoter since 1980.

 

He started as a member of the Montague 4-H Club in Montague, California and later in the Yreka FFA showing and selling Market Beef Steers at the Siskiyou Golden Fair in Yreka,California. While in the FFA He served on the Livestock Judging Team. 

 

For 14 years in the Rodeo and Horse Show industry He served as an Announcer, Sound Technician and Committee Person for the Montague Junior Rodeo, California High School Rodeo Association District #1 Finals Rodeo, Siskiyou County Sheriff's Posse Rodeo and Shasta Valley Horseman's Association. As a committeeman for the Shasta Valley Horseman's Association one of his duties was securing entertainment acts.

 

As a promoter Dan has produced the Siskiyou Classic Draft Horse Pull, Toys for Tots Nebraska State Rodeo Association Rodeo and the Thunder in the Mountains Bull Riding.
